The question isn’t ‘when shouldn’t you be yourself’ because at the height of the hysteria which lead to Paul’s “Forget we are the Beatles” they weren’t themselves. The question is “what do you need to get rid of or change so that you can be yourself”?

Appollo, Appollo, please come home!! Andrew, I really hope your household of humans & felines is reunited soon.

You know that I won’t be able to stop myself commenting when it comes to looking at skills. And I couldn’t agree with you more. Dr Theo Dawson https://www.linkedin.com/in/theo-dawson-0b56b59/ who heads up Lectica would say that so many of us have forgotten how to learn optimally through “play” or what we might say to our corporate clients “experiment with new micro skills in safe contexts”. I wonder if the attainment you mention is probably more about knowledge, which is able to be transferred; skills are not able to be transferred and the only way we can attain them is through practice. Q: How does one get to Carnegie Hall?

One of my Lectica buddies, Daniel Turner, aka the poet engineer said recently: “The closer a skill gets to its optimal state, the closer it gets to beauty”

No Apollo yet! We have scoured local CCTV and he’s been spotted sprinting down a busy retail street towards a major intersection. Quite the opposite to what we predicted, so we’re widening our search!

Do hope Apollo is now home safe and sound! Generally people want to help others and especially when an animal is involved.

Oh Apollo - Sending all my good Ju-Ju to you all. I cannot imagine the distress this is causing.

I have been part of good karma networks for years . They ( as there is many for each neighbourhood ) are an incredible space online that keeps me believing in the power of community. I once sent Pete out to back up and caravan into a tight driveway for a couple who had no idea how to get it in their back yard - Scored a nice bottle of vino and a great chat.
