Your first vignette re challenging questions from Rich Litvin reminded me of a question I love/loathe from author Susan Scott: "What is it that you are pretending not to know"
Hi Andrew, I need to buy you a coffee one day. One because we have very similar Mum's and two because I have a theory that there are two types of people in the world "the I cans" and the "I cannots". "Cans" start thinking about problem with I can sort this out and vice versa for the "Cannots" So similar to your two types of people.
Andrew - I wish your mum well in the next phase of her journey - but I can sense that she will be a person who will change the environment around her for the better just by being herself. Gives me the fillip needed to continue our efforts in improving care in Aged care.
Love the section on speed Andrew, thanks for sharing. I can also relate to the Aged Care situation however it sounds like your mum is in a better place than my dad was
