I gave up in year 11 at school thinking that there would be little use for me in the future... And learned by exposure and the need to express myself better. Still on that journey!
Our kids have an easier shortcut by just talking into their smartphone that suggests a couple of words they could mean when saying "celery" - mine always comes up with salary though...
love the organic and eclectic...maybe not with spelling though that is also an interesting concept (our children's primary school was keen for children to get their thoughts out first, tackle spelling down the track which had its advantages until they went mainstream....and needed to speed-date spelling rules)....stores meant for browsing are delightful and engaging....encouraging to feel we do not all fit into sterile boxes....
