I so admire your Devonport equanimity, enlisting the “last of the human freedoms” to choose one’s attitude in any given context outside of one’s control.
Brilliant. What happens if you feel "legacy" in your inner self? I had a major confrontation with an impossibly condescending twerp on the Police Enquiry hotline (confusingly, definitely a Melbourne Grammar kid) who refused to put me through to the Fitzroy police station to talk to a human about the issue at hand. I had to fill in an online form. I lost it. The bureaucracy is killing me IN EVERY SECTOR. Please keep doing good.
Had a similar experience with my bank regarding payment for the benefit of using counter service when all banking was done online- only realized this was happening when a message was sent about a reduction in the allowed number of counter transactions (successfully secured a partial refund by complaining!) There are so many flawed systems "designed" to work exactly the way they do!

Wowsers Andrew. Bank error in your favour. I hope you get it all back. Another great one this week.
That's the problem, Katie. It's not an error. We didn't uncheck the box, that's all. But very expensive in the long run!
