Part of his performance focused on the US screen writers and actors campaign.
He made the point that when Chat GPT was employed to assess who in the creative arts space was more susceptible to being replaced by AI, the result was the business executives, whose roles involved more predictable data driven decisions typically involving financial considerations etc, and that those in the creative (writers, actors etc) roles were much harder to replace due to the more unique nature of what their produced. 😏
I have a strong bias on your first question, Amanda. I *don't* believe that AI will replace that subtle, in-the-moment, nuance and collective 'a-ha' you need in high-stakes negotiations, psychotherapy, leadership conversations, strategic visioning. But they're the fruit high on the tree ---- the lower hanging fruit will, I think, be grabbed soon. That is, AI will *appear* to have intuition, because gradually AI models will learn to respond to more than content --- tonality, expression, body language even.
