Great story...Bob Iger's book The Ride of a Lifetime is readable and inspiring, showing how he got to these priorities and brought his team, board along. Hard to deal with the least worse options presented during WWII; maybe a different paradigm showing how people live collectively and collaboratively on the planet could become the norm....wouldn't that be interesting in a corporate as well as global governing context?!

This reminds me of a book I have ‘If Disney ran your hospital’ which I read in a previous role and now I’m going to pull out again….

Great value, as ever, Andrew. Coincidentally, I started reading Bob Iger's book, 'The Ride of a Lifetime', yesterday. And I'm convinced that there's power in picking three key things.

Hi Angus, If you like Iger's book, you could also check out his course on the Masterclass platform, where he speaks very compellingly about the hard choices he made at Disney.

Great concepts thanks Andrew.

Especially the three transformative areas of focus. ‘Succinct’ key for clarity, engagement and commitment. ‘Durable’ shows wisdom for the time needed to develop, implement and nurture.
